SCI Faith Statement

SCI Faith Statement


	We believe that the Father God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are One.


	We believe in one God, the Jehovah who is creator of all creation. He is All knowing, Ever present, and Almighty God, the Father.


	We believe that Jesus Christ is our only redeemer who is the only begotten Son of God. He was and is the true God and true man. He is unchanging and everlasting. He was sent by God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered, was crucified, and died on the cross. He was resurrected and ascended to heaven. Now, He is Apostle and High Priest of our confession (Hebrew 3:1), and the author and finisher of faith (Hebrew 12:2).


	We believe in New Birth through Baptism of water and the Holy Spirit. All nine gifts and nine fruits of the Spirit are still present and available to those who are willing to receive and cultivate.


	We believe that All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).



	We believe that we are healed by the Work of Jesus, the Healer (Isaiah 53:5) . We also believe that we have inherited the blessing of Abraham and the promise of the Spirit through Jesus Christ (Galatians 3:14) .


	We believe in the Glorious Return of our Lord Jesus Christ, the soon coming King; that He will raise us and all the saints as He promised.
